It was a pretty normal week. One of our progressing investigators, Susana, will be getting baptized on Saturday. We found her back in October but we never gave up, so that´s good. Her son and her other sister will be getting baptized in the upcoming weeks. We´ve also been able to find some pretty solid families in our area that have potential. Boom.
On Sunday in the morning I
realized my bike had spikes in like 5 places so I attempted to patch them all
and I failed miserably, cause when we took off to the church the tire just
kinda... died. That´s kinda been the story with these bikes, but they´ve been
good. Kind of a nice break from walking everywhere like in my past areas.
I don´t know if I said this
before but my comp really likes to exercise. And he like MAKES me do good
exercises. I´ve come a long way hahah. We have this whole routine we do that´s
pretty hard but now I can do it pretty well. It´s been fun.
Last P day we went to the
historic house museum thingy of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, basically a
founding father of Argentina. He was born in San Juan. I took a bunch of photos
to make the most of the 20 pesos they charged us. I also took some pictures with
some dinosaurs haha.
I did an intercambio with an
Elder named Elder Yugsi, from ecuador. He´s famous for being in the most
dangerous areas in the mission for long amounts of time. He´s pretty cool, and
we had a lesson with some evangelicos. They told us we didn´t know the bible
when we were literally giving them scriptures to fight against us cause they
couldn´t remember. So that was fun. Some day, some day.
That´s pretty much it.... Have
a fantastic week make sure to pray, read your scriptures, and go to church.
love,
Elder Anderson
