This week on Tuesday we had consejo like normal. In the colectivo I accidentally spilled juice all over my shirt and I didn´t bring another one... oh well. Consejo was pretty good.
Then on Wednesday we had interviews with President Goates. I can´t remember if I already said this but we will be having interviews and a Zone conference every transfer instead of every other transfer. President says he´s doubling his efforts as he finishes his mission.
So after interviews we were
just working, and the phone rang, and President and Hermana Goates wanted to
leave with us and work. It was pretty fun, mainly because we had an air
conditioned car instead of old bikes. So we visited some people and at the end
of the day they went home.
For new years the Bishop and
Hermano Aldana came to our pench and we had an asado. It was pretty awesome, I
couldn´t eat all that was there. And then, Victor, an recent convert, brought
us some empanadas so that was fun. Then we played around with the soccer ball
like we did last week. There were a ton of fireworks around us so that was
good.
Yesterday there was a fire in
this ranch thingy in front of our pench. It wasn´t very big but some
firefighters came and put it out. I think it was caused by a firework yesterday
in the siesta. I´ll send some photos, but don´t worry, all is good.
As far as investigators Susana
will be getting baptized the 14 of January if she can come to church this
Sunday. We´re pretty sure it´ll go through, she´s way solid. Her son and sister
will be getting baptized a little bit later when some family of theirs show up
to see the baptism. We also committed a couple to get married so they can get
baptized, that will all be happening in February. Man, Albardon has been such a
great area. I´m sad because I know my time here is coming to a close.... oh
well.
That will did it for this week.
I hope you all have a great day, week, and year.... put some goals and go out
and do them! The Church is true so we should go out and share it!
Love,
Elder Anderson
