First off, we were able to baptize Susana on Saturday. It was way cool. She has been a really cool investigator and she was really ready. A little background story.. We knocked her door back in OCTOBER and we never gave up. She is very evangelica and knows the Bible extremely well. She was just sick and tired of churches that don´t practice what they preach, accepted the Book of Mormon, and yeah... that´s that.
Friday the 13th treated us pretty well. My companion´s bike had to be repaired 3 times. it kinda sucked. Also, in the night, I slept like 2 hours because I was dying of heat. Then in the morning when the sun came up I realized why I was so hot... The air conditioning machine tube thingy that goes outside had fallen off and hot air was blowing right into the fan I was using. I don´t know how that happened but all is well now.
Yesterday we got transfers.... I´m headed back to San Rafael!! I´m going with an elder named Elder Vega from Chile. It´s kinda funny because last time I left chimbas and went to san raffy... and now the same thing will happen. So I have a few buses to take to get there. I´m pretty pumped, the area is called Mitre and it´s really large. Not to mention I will get to see the ashes of El Cerrito (they combined wards and it´s called something different.) It´s gonna be lit.
The other day I hit 18 months on my mission. Oh my gosh....
So today will be a pretty good day, gotta pack all my stuff and hit the terminal tomorrow. I don´t know how I´m going to do it because my suitcases are all pretty destroyed. But it happens. I´m pretty happy to be leaving the extreme heat of San Juan and spend the summer in the other promised land, San Raffy.
That´ll do it for this week.
Have a good week and behave yourselves!!
love,
Elder Anderson
