Another week in El Cerrito

I really enjoyed this week. It went by way fast, it definitely had it´s ups and downs, but, overall the week was great.

So last P Day we were playing basketball and Elder Bingham sprained his ankle, so we were limited for a few days, which always stinks. But then he got better and it was fine. Hopefully today he doesn´t sprain the other one haha.

On Friday Elder Tiexiera of seventy came down to San Rafael (he did 3 conferences for the mission). And gave us some good training on the work. I had to play the piano for that meeting so it was kinda nerve wracking but it all went well haha. Then afterwards we got lunch, which was some really good soup. Because....

The temperature has been dropping quite a bit... It´s been super cold every single day. Elder Bingham has seen THE SUN twice since he´s been in the country. Which really kinda stinks, cause winter is just starting. But oh well. Our Jackets, We´re Glad We´ve Got Em. So yeah. ColdColdCold.

We had some way solid lessons set up this week... But I don´t think I´ve ever had so many lesson appointments fall in one week...It was a little discouraging. on Saturday we had 2 way solid appointments, and even a member came with us. The first one, we showed up to the house and music was literally shaking the house, it was so loud. So we waited a little but it was obvious they didn´t really want to listen haha. So then we were walking to the other one, and I got a text fom the investigator that said he had to work. Dang. So it would´ve been really easy to just give up.. But we went to some other investigator´s house, and they had some family over and we were able to teach a lesson and give out some references. It was cool.

Other than that things are going really good. I´ve been reading the Bible a lot lately because I´m sick of people telling me at the door ´Come back when you read the Bible´ hahaah so I´ve been getting some good scriptures from like the Old Testament and stuff haha. So yeah. Elder Bingham is doing good, adjusting to the giant change it is living in Argentina. He´s a pretty solid cook, and he cleans stuff up which is always a good thing in companion. His training is flying by, but like always, you´ve gotta let your kids fly hahaha.

That´s pretty much it. Argentina is awesome. Although the mission is hard, attitude is all it takes to be happy. I love you all, have a great week!
